Hi Kristen. Vegetable gardens don't have to be large. You can grow your favorite vegetables in containers. There are several companies such as Park Seed that have special vegetables just for containers. Good luck!!

Hi there. Stumbled across your website and I think it's great. I love your ideas about vegetable gardens. I live in NoVA, and our plot of land is not really conducive to a large vegetable garden, not to mention that we live in a heavily wooded area, where there are deer a-plenty. Every time I've tried to plant a garden, the deer have had a nice lunch buffet. Anyway, I think I will try to plant a few things this year--you've inspired me. I always have herbs (they are SO expensive to buy at the grocery!), but maybe I'll try strawberries and blueberries and tomatoes again.
