Snowy Homestead

Ok, I love the snow but snow and 10 degrees is just cold especially before the sun has really come up.   It was a brisk 10 degrees this morning when I went out to the furnace.  By my standards, anything under 20 is just too cold to deal with before I have had my coffee in the morning.

The snow yesterday was disrupting my internet service so I couldn’t post many pictures.  I thought I might share a few from around the homestead this morning.

The Geo handled the snow pretty well!  I love front wheel drive in the snow.

Snowy Driveway

Notice how heavy the tree branches are with snow.  We had several in the neighborhood come down.

Empty Barnyard

All the animals are tucked snug in the barn.  They aren’t sure that they wouldn’t rather be out in the snow but with the ice underneath it’s safer for them inside.
