We did rebuild the engine in the tractor. We found most of the parts on ebay but our local carquest also had some parts that we needed. I would suggest searching ebay, craigslist, etc for parts and attachments or old tractors to use for parts.

I came across your site looking to find a Sears lawn tractor like the one I have out in the shed
it's been there for 10 years or more, just never had any use for it, but thought about putting it together, would like to know if you were able to rebuild the motor, or if you just replaced it.
Mine is simulair but I don't have any of the attachments you mentioned. Would you know of any outlets for the attacments ??
thank you

Hi Mike, when we get it back together, I will post pictures. The tractor has a 3 point hitch but no PTO. The tiller has a separate motor on it. From what I understand, they do have Sears garden tractors with a PTO.

Awesome. I want one! So i guess it has a PTO to drive a tiller? Maybe you can post some photos of it in action... Good luck getting parts. I saw some pretty cheap on ebay, maybe you can cannibalize one of those for parts?
