		<description>DW, I have heard the same thing about newspaper.  I have never tried it.  I might give it a try but I suspect that the wire grass can find a way through it.</description>

		<description>One method I;&#039;ve heard of for &quot;organically&quot; killing turf that may help prevent mishaps with your lima beans is spreading damp newspaper over the turf you want to kill and holding it down with soil or rocks on the edges.  I haven&#039;t tried this, so I can&#039;t comment on the potentially negative pest impacts it could bring about.  Apparently, however, when you&#039;re ready to plant you don&#039;t really need to till at all!  The soil is already broken up from the dead turf roots.  I&#039;d love to hear your comments on this.</description>
